RACE REPORT

As the tapes were released the favourite Referagh got left behind, Crookhaven setting a mighty gallop up front. As the field reached the Anglesey course Judy Duggan assumed command, but her effort was short lived and by the chains Mary Lister had bounded into the lead and began to draw clear from Pursuit and Crookhaven. She won in a canter by 8 lengths, in receipt of 19 lbs, with 2 lengths between Pursuit and Crookhaven.
